Worried that big brother is always watching? Well since there’s supposedly RFID chips in a lot of our currency and credit cards, DIFRWEAR has come up with a RFID Blocking Wallet for the paranoid.
The RFID Blocking Wallet works by using a layer of RF shielding that prevents RFID readers from reading the tags stored within. Other than that, it’s pretty much a wallet for $15.
After reading up on shortwave radio, I’ve decided to jump in, and ordered the Kaito KA1102.

After listening to an NPR story last night on the way home from ‘All Things Considered’, I heard about something called “Google Mashups”. These are Google Maps that people have taken and added their own specific information to.
Well, it turns out that NPR has created one of their own. They mapped all their radio stations out and made it available:

Nebraska defeated Michigan last night in a great game; especially the last play. I might add that the referee’s made horrible calls throughout the game on both sides. They should be embarrassed of themselves for their piss poor decisions.

Some chiles are so hot that they literally kill taste buds. Other chiles? Not so much. But how do you know how hot a chile is (before tasting it and potentially ending up in pain)? Believe it or not, there is a scientific system for measuring and rating the “hotness” of chiles.
