Another encryption solution for Apple’s Mail program

After installing the GPG (open source pgp) Mail plugin outlined below a couple of days ago, I figured I should look at the competition.

Ran across this article from MacDevCenter I printed out back in January stuck in a corner pocket of my laptop bag, and decided to actually read it.

Very nice stuff indeed. This S/MIME (Secure / Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions) solutions seems to be much more integrated with Apple’s Mail client, and just as capable of the PGP security I’ve come to expect.

When I get home tonight I’ll have to give it a try and see if it’s all the article has it cracked up to be.
