BPFTP for the Mac!

Bullet Proof software has finally released a version of their excellent ftp client for the Mac. I’ve been using their windows ftp client, bpftp, for about 5 years and I just love it.

I’m so glad they’ve finally had the customer base and support to port this great app to our side of the house.

Now, I just found this link, so I’m not sure if it’ll live up to all the features of it’s windows brethen, but I’ll find out tonight.

Three cheers for Bullet Proof Software.

Well, I’ve taken a look at it, and boy am I underwhelmed. This app does not look professionally done by any means.

As for features, I’m sure it does what most ftp can, but the one feature I really wanted to see in a Mac client was queued downloads: where I can list the items I want to download before I actually start. Don’t see that feature.

Oh well. This is just a 1.0 release, so maybe it’ll progress into feature parity with it’s windows brother.
