Filesystem Hierarchy Standards

It appears that the “Filesystem Hierarchy Standards Group” is in charge of setting the standards regarding what is supposed to go where on UNIX machines.

For any unix sys admins, developers, hackers, etc, this is a great resource document in time of need or boredom.
