More IE 7 details emerge

Arstechnica has some details about the upcoming new version of IE.  My thoughts are this:  Isn’t this a bit too late?  I mean, come on??!!!??

Is anyone still using IE as their main browser anymore?  Yeah for Grandma!

Come on IE controls over 89% of the market, with the changes that Microsoft is making,  IE will rapidly halt the erosion that Firfax, Oprah, and Safarti have claimed.  Soon IE will be back to 98% of the market.

Trust my word!

I agree with Paul.  Microsoft has/is making some large improvements to IE.  I’ve used Firefox a lot and it lacks in functionality.  I have to switch back to IE often to reload the page properly and it’s a hassle.  If Firefox doesn’t fix some of their functionality issues, I think the general population will revert back to IE.

I guess I’m just blessed to be able to use Safari.  Count me lucky.
