Update: Opps. Forgot to list the price. It cost $211 from Sears. That’s without the lame-ass Sears warranty.
After 7 years with our current stereo (4 of them w/ the CD player portion broken), I decided it was time for a new model.
Started looking on the internet a few days ago and basically came to the decision that I wanted s mini-shelf system. Just wasnt’ sure which one yet. So I go out shopping with my son, Adrian, last night (the girls were away at Brownies..).
We went to Circuit City, Best Buy and lastly at Sears ready to give up. I really didn’t have have a clear idea of what I wanted but I know it had to have a few things:
At Sears we ran into the JVC model in the picture above. Sounded really nice, aux inputs, all that. But the really cool thing that I just love, is this thing is a DVD player as well! I still can’t get over that. That means I can replace my home stereo AND my crap cheapo DVD player all in one swipe. Sound was pretty good too (for a mini-shelf sys., of course).
Got it home, set it up, present it to Tam. She loves it too, so I’m cool there.
Just wanted to recommend this unit to anyone in the market.
